**A STATEMENT ON THE YUNGBLUD SHOW FROM ASSAI RECORDS –

YUNGBLUD Idols Up Close and Personal Album Launch show which was due to take place tomorrow at Livehouse Dundee has been postponed.

Sadly due to Yungblud health, the show will no longer be going ahead as planned this week, and we are working closely with Yungblud and his team to try and arrange a new date. Rumour House is coming to LiveHouse! The sold out smash day party where you are the star! Gather your friends and get ready to party in Dundee’s newest venue for live music and entertainment. Saturday 13th Sept – DDE presents Kimmic

Scottish Duo ‘KIMMIC’ have cemented themselves as one of the fastest rising acts in Electronic Dance Music after their huge 2023 breakthrough single ‘Never Miss A Beat’, which was signed to Universal Records. The Dundee born lads have sold out shows all over the UK, Europe, Ireland and Australia, and performed on the 30,000-capacity Creamfields Main Stage last summer.

A KIMMIC live show is not to be missed! That high energy vibe and ability to jump seamlessly between genres has gained them a massive, global following in two short years. Look out for a string of festival appearances over the summer and brand-new music. One of the leading creative forces behind LIVEHOUSE, Angus Robb is celebrating the launch of the new live events space in Dundee by celebrating the 30th anniversary of another all-time Dundee Hall of Fame venue, the Mardi Gras.
When the Mardi Gras opened back in 1995 no one could have predicted the level of success, awards and esteem the club would go on to acquire. By 1999 the Mardi Gras hosted over 10,000 people a week over 8 sessions, had won both the Entertainment Team of the Year for Scotland and various other awards.

Saturday 6th Dec – Idlewild

Formed thirty years ago in Edinburgh by vocalist Roddy Woomble, Guitarist Rod Jones and Drummer Colin Newton, the band have released nine studio albums and toured worldwide as a headline act, alongside as support to REM, U2 and Pearl Jam amongst others. For the last decade Idlewild’s line up has been completed by multi instrumentalists Andrew Mitchell on bass and Luciano Rossi on Keyboards.

Tuesday 24th Feb – Franz Ferdinand

Iconic Scottish Indie Rock band, Franz Ferdinand will kick start their 2026 UK and European headline tour at LIVEHOUSE on 24th February 2026, the only Scottish date of the tour.

Lost Property

If you’ve lost an item at the venue, please email info@livehousedundee.co.uk with:

  • a description of the missing item
  • the date of the event
  • your contact details
  • any other relevant information

If the item can be located, a member of the Lost Property team will be in touch to arrange for you to collect the item. The venue keeps items for a maximum of four weeks from the date of the event. After this period, items such as passports, ID, keys, jewellery and mobile phones are handed to the police. All other items are donated to charity after this period. Our Lost Property team aim to respond within 48 hours.
