THIS IS NO APRIL FOOL…Dermot Kennedy brings The Weight of the Woods to life with a special acoustic album launch show at LiveHouse, Dundee on 1st April 2026, in collaboration with Assai Records.
This intimate evening will feature a stripped-back acoustic performance from Dermot, alongside an exclusive Q&A session — offering fans a rare opportunity to hear the stories, inspirations and meaning behind the music. The Weight of the Woods is released on 27th March 2026, with albums available for collection or delivery from that date.

90s vs 00s: It’s time to settle the argument. Two eras. Two soundtracks. One gloriously chaotic game of Bongo’s Bingo.

Assai Records presents Kneecap. Irish rap-trio, Kneecap are coming to LiveHouse to launch their second album ‘Fenian’ which will be released on 24th April this year. This album launch party will see the band play the new album in full including announce first track ‘Lair’s Tale’. Please note, while every effort will be made to ensure a fantastic and inclusive experience for all of our guests, like all ticket types, we are limited by available space therefore we have a capacity to all accessible spaces, wheelchair sections, and carers slots. If you’ve lost an item at the venue, please email info@livehousedundee.co.uk with:

  • a description of the missing item
  • the date of the event
  • your contact details
  • any other relevant information

If the item can be located, a member of the Lost Property team will be in touch to arrange for you to collect the item. The venue keeps items for a maximum of four weeks from the date of the event. After this period, items such as passports, ID, keys, jewellery and mobile phones are handed to the police. All other items are donated to charity after this period. Our Lost Property team aim to respond within 48 hours.
